" ...... Further Observations" (1982) - The Loved One 

This is the first appearance on CD of " ...... Further Observations" - the second album by The Loved One.

Featuring recordings made from 1979 - 1982 this record contains many of the items that featured in the unforgettable live performances made by The Loved One during the early Eighties. 

The title track is an "extension" of the track Observations which appeared on the original Some Bizarre Album (1981) - announced as unfinished at the time of the Some Bizarre Album release “ . . . . . . Further Observations” is the definitive version of the song.

This CD contains many of The Loved One's signature songs and is a deeper advance into their electronic music and sound that suggests much of what happens later.

This CD was restored and remastered from the original tapes.

"An Example of the Species . . ." (1979) - The Loved One 

This is the first appearance on CD of "An Example of the Species . . ." - the first album by The Loved One.

Featuring recordings made from 1976 - 1979 this record contains a collection of electronic songs and music. This album established The Loved One as one of the early pioneers of underground electronic music in England at that time. Unusual, Melodramatic, Strange and Wonderful is how this album was first described – its still sounds unique today as it did in 1979

Locate and Cement (1985) – The Loved One

This is the first appearance on CD of Locate and Cement – the third album by The Loved One. “This is the perfect example of the most undesirable record on the planet”, was how one reviewer described this album! As if The Loved One had not already taken a risky path in previous albums Locate and Cement soon became a cult classic and has influenced and annoyed since it first appeared in 1985. Of all previous albums by The Loved One this is the one that proved to be the most musically prophetic.

The Radio Fantazias (1994) – The Loved One

This is the first appearance on CD of The Radio Fantazias – the forth album by The Loved One. This album is a collection of eight Radio Fantazias of which there are nine! All of the Radio Fantazias were composed from one set of shortwave radio passes recorded from 1981 to 1986. These electronic variations were composed using the shortwave as the only source material.
